About The Company
Agrani Aviations Services And Solutions Pvt Ltd (AASSPL) is an Aerospace and Defence Consultancy Services and Solutions Firm based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, which came into being on November 17, 2022. Unlike any other start-up, the AASSPL has a seriously committed Indian Army Veteran Officer as its Technical Director who has flourishing and rich experience in planning, strategy building, on-time execution, risk analysis, multi-task management, quick solution-oriented, cost-saving strategy, and improving the performance. The man behind the curtains started this venture with a vision of providing the best Consultancy, Services, Solutions and Marketing in a wide range of Aerospace, Defence and Non-Defence products for supplies to the Armed Forces, Para Military Forces and various other organisations to accomplish the Nations objective of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India).
AASSPL, though at a nascent stage, but our core team has proven liaising and networking capabilities and profound knowledge of the procurement process in India. It’s because of their years of experience in procurement, which includes complete Collaboration, Joint Ventures/ Partnership, Project/ Contract Management, Design and Development, Prototype model, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Trials, Testing, Evaluation, Management of Warranty/ Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), Setting up Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO), and more. We have a small team of dedicated individuals aspiring to be instrumental in servicing large project requirements of our clients in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Paramilitary Forces, Homeland Security, Public Sector Undertakings, Indian Defence Research Units, Civil Aviation industries, Manufacturing Units, various Government Departments, Start-ups and many other market areas. We offer the best possible solutions to them within India and from/across the world. With tie-ups with some of the biggest names in Defence, Aerospace and Security Industries, AASSPL combines consultancy with services and solutions for various products with state-of-the-art technology for the different needs of various customers.
We will provide solutions and services involved in establishing synergistic alliances for meeting the “Offsets” obligations and absorbing Transfer of Technology (ToT) for indigenous manufacturing while adhering to the rules and regulations of Indian Defence Procurements. Our company takes pride in its pool of dedicated professional advisors with extensive domain experience and expertise in Aerospace and Defence.
Our Inspiration
The inspiration for getting an idea for this unique start-up and the launch of Agrani Avaitions Services And Solutions Private Limited came from the Self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan) mission launched by the Hon’ble PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi, in May 2020 to promote Indian goods in the global supply chain markets and help the country achieve self-reliance, which encompassed themes such as ‘Local for Global’, ‘Make in India’ for the World and ‘Vocal for Local’. This initiative or mission encouraged many start-ups, small or medium size and new large-size private companies, to venture into the Aerospace and Defence sector, since it is a big market. However, the process, procedure, execution and materialising of an Aerospace and Defence product is very complex and time-consuming. Hence, such companies need handholding and support to establish themselves to be effective and reputed manufacturers and suppliers of Aerospace and Defence products. Thus, the AASSPL got inspired by the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and hence came into existence in Nov 2022.

Colonel Sunil Kumar Uniyal (Retd)
He is specialised in the Complete process involved in the Aerospace and Defence procurement, handling complex project/ contract management, Design & Development, ToT partnership/setting up/implementation, Quality Assurances (both Hardware & Software), Testing, Inspection, Management of Post Contract of Defence Equipment’s/ systems, Warranty Support, Maintenance, Product Support, AMC & Provisioning of Spares, customer support, Risk Management, Workforce management activities since last 15+ years and overall 30+ Years of varied experienced working in Military service in planning, coordination & execution of the provision of field/ static communication, Signal Intelligence, equipment & finance management, besides management of human resources & logistics. He steers and spearheads the entire business, technical consultancy, services and solutions directly with the clients.
Colonel Subhajeet Naha (Retd)
Col Subhajeet Naha, having served in the Indian Army transitioned into the Corporate world in the technology domain. With multiple experience around technology verticals like Network Engineering, regional access networks, IP-MPLS networks, RF Engineering for 3G and 4G systems. He has been involved with cyber security operations since 2008 and carries a vast cybersecurity management and engineering experience. He was also the Project Director of Indian Army’s Electronic Warfare vertical and headed procurement division for procurements worth USD 3 Bn from domestic and international markets. In a leadership role, he has commanded an Army Communication Engineering Unit in the battlefield areas of Ladakh where they were responsible for network and network- enabled services for the edge platforms and sensors. Adept at security management, compliance and engineering, he is a suitable mix of a technology and management professional always ready to take on challenges. He is also a passionate trainer and runs cybersecurity courses on his digital platform for cyber career enhancement.
